Privacy Policy

Data we collect

None. SFBracket does not collect, transmit, sell or share any personal data. It has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. Apart from Apple's in-app purchase system (see below), the app does not connect to the internet.

Data stored on your device

The app stores your settings, bracketing presets, session history and the identifier of the last camera you paired with. This stays on your device, is never sent to us and is deleted when you delete the app.

In-app purchases

SFBracket is free to download. SFBracket Pro is an optional one-time in-app purchase. Purchases, restores, Family Sharing and refunds are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never receive your name, Apple Account, payment card or other payment details.

The app checks whether Pro is unlocked on your device using Apple's StoreKit. This check is between your device and Apple; no purchase information is sent to us.

Free Pro trial

New users get a few free Pro brackets. The number of trial brackets left is stored only on your device, in the app's settings and the iOS Keychain, so the count survives reinstalling the app. It is never transmitted to us or anyone else.

Photos

If you choose to save a stacked preview, the app asks for add-only access to your photo library. With this permission the app can add new images but cannot see, read or change your existing photos. You can change this at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Photos.

Bluetooth and USB

SFBracket uses Bluetooth and USB only to communicate with your camera: to send focus and shutter commands and to receive the camera's status and live view images. Nothing received from the camera leaves your device unless you choose to export or share an image.

Support and feedback email

If you choose Send Feedback in the app, it opens your own mail app with a message addressed to support@codesilk.com. Nothing is sent unless you send that email yourself.

You can optionally include diagnostics, added as plain text you can read and edit before sending. We use your email only to answer your request and never add you to a mailing list.

• Connected camera model and connection type (Bluetooth or USB)
• Pro and trial status
• Recent app log lines about camera communication — no photos, location, contacts or account information

Children

The app does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a new effective date.
